Gustav Brunn is a mixing and mastering engineer based in southern Sweden. His work with both Grammy-winning major artists and indie artists has earned him a fantastic reputation worldwide. In this panel, the different ways that sound is expressed in public space will be discussed, as well as sound\u2019s potential for conflict, inclusion, and exclusion in the urban arena, especially as it relates to culture and nightlife in Malm\u00f6. What forms does it take, which spaces does it occupy, and where and at what times is it a nuisance to others? Who may make sound, who is meant to experience it, and who will cover their ears?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<\/br>\n\n\n\n

Sture Borgedahl var legendarisk f\u00f6r sin koppling till The Beatles. Han s\u00e4krade r\u00e4ttigheterna till deras musik i Sverige och spelade en viktig roll bakom deras turn\u00e9 1963. Efter framg\u00e5ngarna med The Beatles, grundade han 1969 musikf\u00f6rlaget Air Music Scandinavia tillsammans med bland andra Beatlesproducenten George Martin. F\u00f6rlaget blev dessutom en plantskola f\u00f6r medarbetare, l\u00e5tskrivare och artister. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<\/br>\n\n\n\n

Sture Borgedahl arbetade s\u00e5v\u00e4l med svenska artister som Lasse Berghagen, Cornelis Vreeswijk, Lill Lindfors, Janne Schaffer, Barbro H\u00f6rberg och Adolphson & Falk, som internationella artister, som Elton John, John Denver och Bob Dylan. Ber\u00e4ttelser fr\u00e5n k\u00e4nda r\u00f6ster i boken belyser hur han st\u00f6ttade dem och blev en trygg punkt i branschen. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<\/br>\n\n\n\n

 \u201dBakom artisterna\u201d skildrar Sture Borgedahls g\u00e4rningar och m\u00f6ten, och hur han under sju decennier (1938-2007) var med och formade den svenska musikindustrin. ”Bakom artisterna” \u00e4r skriven av Sture Borgedahls dotter Ylva Lilja och barnbarn Ann Isler som nu kommer till Scania Sounds f\u00f6r att samtala med Eva Karman om boken och – s\u00e5klart – Sture.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<\/br>\n\n\n\n

How do we support the music creators of the future? How do we ensure safe and inclusive spaces within the music industry so that today\u2019s young musicians can enter – and want to stay? The organization Popkollo has been working toward a more gender-equal music industry for over 20 years. By organizing music camps for young girls and transgender people, Popkollo serves as a breeding ground for the musicians of tomorrow. In this session, Popkollo shares its practical methods for creating a more equal music industry. We will hear what today\u2019s young musicians need to realize their musical dreams – and what the industry can do to help.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<\/br>\n\n\n\n
